City of Statesville Fresco Wall Boards

Although this project is several years old, we felt it was worthy of keeping in our portfolio. We were given Ben Long's original 'cartoon' illustrations to use however we chose. When we unrolled these gorgeous pencil drawings - each full scale to the finished art - we paused in awe at the beauty of them. It was a spiritual experience indeed. We were so captivated by the cartoons, we chose to use them heavily in the design of the wall boards and the printed pieces we designed. We combined images of the cartoons, the fresco, photos taken during the creation of the fresco, and notes taken from Ben Long's notebook in the wall board designs.
